The Mission of Sustainable Connellsville is to educate and empower our citizenry and local leaders thru the promotion and implementation of integrated solutions in dealing with social, environmental, and economic issues that affect our community.

With the help of the City of Connellsville, Pennsylvania Environmental Council, and the West Penn Power Sustainability Fund we are implementing our mission by hosting Connellsville’s Sustainability Fair. It is our objective to expose our citizens and local leaders to some of the ideas and concepts surrounding sustainability in hopes that they may be inspired to implement some of these practices in their individual lives and throughout the community.

While we strive to educate and inspire local leaders we work even harder to stay politically neutral. If you’re visiting our website and the ideas expressed here interest you please consider joining us and helping promote sustainability throughout our community.
